About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Assistance in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role provides reliable hours at an assigned site on a designated weekly shift, with a six-month commitment to that schedule. In addition to the anchor shift, employees may claim extra shifts through the company scheduling platform, potentially working up to 40 hours per week and adjusting their schedule as needed. The position pays $18.04 per hour. The listed shift is Monday, 6:00 PM–2:00 AM. The role supports campus safety through customer service, patrols, access support, incident response, and accurate reporting.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following site procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and support authorized access procedures for academic facilities, residence areas, and event locations as assigned.
• Accurately document patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership or appropriate campus personnel.
