About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer for an entertainment and retail location in Reno, Nevada. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service and clear communication to guests and team members. The position is scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM and pays $22.15 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, bowling areas, amusement areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, hazards, and policy violations, and report observations through established procedures.
Help maintain an orderly environment during busy operating periods, special events, and closing activities.
