About The Position

As an unarmed flex corporate Security Guard at Allied Universal, you will safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Applicants must meet the stated age, education or experience, and security experience requirements. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Have at least two years of security experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
