About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an unarmed tactical security guard for a flex-schedule role at a site in Mansfield. The position requires alert observation, risk awareness, and the ability to remain physically active throughout the shift while patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers. The officer responds to incidents, monitors access, conducts security checks, and documents observations. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States.
Be at least 21 years old.
Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Hold a Connecticut State Security Guard License endorsement.
Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations.
Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Respond to high-pressure situations professionally and calmly.
Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

First aid certification.

Responsibilities

Respond swiftly and professionally to emergencies, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.
Monitor access points and perform security checks on vehicles and personnel.
Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel to address incidents or security concerns.
Enforce company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public courteously and professionally.
Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely written reports documenting incidents and observations.
