About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an unarmed security guard for a flex-schedule role in Mansfield. The officer patrols assigned environments, stays alert to potential risks, responds to incidents, monitors access points, and interacts professionally with the public. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a Connecticut State Security Guard License endorsement.
• Have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Respond professionally and calmly in high-pressure situations.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond swiftly and professionally to emergencies, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks on vehicles and personnel.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel to address incidents or security concerns.
• Enforce company regulations, policies, and procedures while treating the public courteously and professionally.
• Write detailed, accurate, and timely reports documenting incidents and observations.
• Patrol assigned environments and remain physically active throughout the shift.
