About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Seattle, Washington. The role is unarmed and patrol-focused, with responsibilities including monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. The officer communicates professionally with employees and visitors and supports a welcoming environment while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

The position pays $21.66 per hour. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Additional shifts may be available through the company's Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document access-related concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and complete accurate reports.
• Maintain a professional presence and a welcoming environment while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
