About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location in Verona, Mississippi. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points, and supporting badge and visitor procedures. The officer uses computer or tablet tools to document activity, communicates professionally with employees and visitors, and provides customer-focused service. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $10.15 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
