About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer for a food and beverage production location in Forest, Mississippi. The role serves and safeguards clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. Officers work with a team to help create a welcoming environment. The position pays $15.66 per hour. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 8:45 PM to 4:45 AM. Officers may use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.

Access control and badge experience.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
Communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
