About The Position

As a Security Guard (Unarmed Monitoring) in Greenville, South Carolina, you will safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. The role also involves providing customer service and clear communication while helping maintain an orderly environment. The schedule is overnight and evening shifts: Monday and Tuesday, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM; Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM; and Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. The stated pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct authorized personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.
