Monitoring Security Guard
About The Position
Protos Security is seeking qualified Monitoring Specialists to join ControlByNet’s growing team. This is an on-site position in Norcross, Georgia. The position monitors surveillance camera feeds and alerts, identifies suspicious activity, and responds to incidents according to established protocols. The posted shift is Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.; the position summary also states operating hours of 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m., seven days a week. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Positive, professional demeanor.
- Detail-oriented, focused, and reliable.
- Ability to multitask while meeting service expectations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in security or remote monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live surveillance camera streams for suspicious activity.
- Identify patterns and abnormalities.
- Respond to camera alerts using established protocols.
- Alert local authorities and/or organizations about critical incidents.
- Review archived camera footage.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
