About The Position

A Signal Dedicated Guard provides static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high-value areas. The role helps secure access points and protect property and residents through attentive, safety-focused service. Guards follow site-specific instructions and post orders, which may include duties beyond those listed in the posting. The guard completes security checks and daily assignments, documents activity in detailed reports using company technology and web- or app-based software, and communicates promptly with clients, team members, and management. The position also involves customer service, professional de-escalation, care of assigned equipment, and meeting service-quality and reporting expectations. The scheduled shift is 1200–2000, Wednesday through Sunday.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Pass a background check and drug test.
Reliable transportation.
Complete training modules within the first month.
Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
Demonstrate commitment to service, organizational values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor.
Ability to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Conduct static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high-value areas, securing access points and helping protect property and residents.
Deliver dedicated services in accordance with company values, expectations, site-specific instructions, and post orders.
Write detailed and accurate reports during each shift using company technology and web- or app-based software.
Arrive on time, clock in and out, meet time commitments, follow instructions, and comply with dress-code and appearance standards.
Interact with internal and external customers on site and cultivate customer-service relationships.
Promptly communicate customer- or property-related information and concerns to the Advanced Dedicated Guard or Dedicated Branch Supervisor.
Care for assigned Signal equipment, including radios, access keys or cards, vehicles, and devices.
De-escalate issues promptly and professionally through communication.
Manage daily activities to meet benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor, including reporting standards and service quality.
Communicate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor and use Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum information to receive and share client needs and post-order changes.
Complete assigned daily tasks and communicate maintenance needs for company assets.
