Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Overnights
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed security officer for overnight patrol work in a healthcare environment in Jacksonville, Florida. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and the facility by maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas and access points, conducting patrols, responding to alarms and incidents, and providing professional customer service. The role includes communicating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed and completing accurate incident reports and activity logs. The posted schedule is 11:00 PM–7:30 AM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $16.05 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with alarm panels.

- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Experience with access control and badge systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and other critical situations; notify appropriate site personnel or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and security concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, assist with directions, and maintain a professional presence.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
