Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Jacksonville, Florida, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and supporting a secure environment. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Site conditions may vary by client location. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents.
Communicate clearly with visitors and team members and respond professionally to security-related concerns.
