About The Position

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Saint Joseph, Missouri, you will help safeguard clients at a food and beverage production location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The role is part-time and follows a scheduled shift pattern: Thursday and Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.87 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry according to site procedures, and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
Complete required activity reports and incident documentation, and provide shift handoff communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site requirements.
