About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role safeguards clients by patrolling assigned areas, conducting access-control activities, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The officer provides customer service and clear communication while following site-specific procedures and supporting the Allied Universal team. The position pays $14.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Access-control and badge experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and appropriate emergency-response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
Observe and report hazardous conditions, equipment concerns, and unusual activity while following site policies and procedures.
