About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard for a driver entry authorization assignment at a designated site in Lebanon, Indiana. The position provides a fixed weekly schedule of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a six-month commitment to the assigned site and shifts. Employees may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, offering the opportunity to increase hours up to 40 per week and build toward a full-time schedule. The stated pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

The role provides customer service and carries out site security procedures, including access control, recordkeeping, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Employees may interact with employees, visitors, contractors, and tenants at a commercial property.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and tenants while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific access-control requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and access-related records, and direct guests to appropriate contacts and locations within the commercial property.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
