Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Nederland, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. The role includes customer service, clear communication, and support for security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is full-time and pays $16.53 per hour. The stated schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for this driving position.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry and exit, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, assigned areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Maintain accurate access-control logs, reports, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
