About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization Specialist in Doraville, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and vehicle activity, and report security-related concerns. A visible presence and professional communication help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, drivers, and visitors. The role involves carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. This is a full-time position paying $15.42 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor and control facility access by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and directing authorized personnel, drivers, and deliveries according to site procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
