About The Position
As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Earth City, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including logistics and distribution. In this access-control role, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel. Your visible presence, clear communication, and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents and support smooth operations. The position is full-time and pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency-response activities.
- Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery vehicles at a logistics and distribution location.
- Verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills to address incidents, access-control issues, and critical situations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
