About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Accomac, Virginia, you will safeguard clients at a food and beverage production location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. Through a visible presence, clear communication, and attentive customer service, you will help deter security-related incidents and support site security procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing traffic, including deliveries and vendor vehicles, according to facility policies and applicable access requirements.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds.
