About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify badges and credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer and/or tablet systems, communicate professionally, and provide a visible presence that helps deter incidents. The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The position provides customer service and access-control support while following site-specific procedures. Officers respond to incidents and alarms, coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed, and conduct patrols of facility areas. Applicants are subject to background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and access-control requirements.
Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entry and exit points, document arrivals and departures, and report access-related concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
