About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard Access Control to serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location in Denver, Colorado. The role involves unarmed patrols, monitoring assigned areas and access points, deterring incidents through a visible presence, and providing professional customer service and communication. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at a rate of $20.07 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Guard card or license preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in manufacturing and industrial work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and report unusual conditions to site leadership.
Accurately and promptly document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
