About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Guard Access Control in Golden, Colorado. The role serves as a welcoming, professional front desk presence at a chemical and petrochemical location, supporting access control, visitor management, and facility procedures. The officer helps deter security-related incidents through attentive observation, clear communication, and customer service. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The pay rate is $24.34 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor front-desk access, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, issue badges, and direct guests according to established protocols.
Answer incoming calls, manage inquiries, and communicate routine and urgent information to appropriate site personnel.
Observe entry areas and security-related systems, report unusual activity or access concerns, and help deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
