About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems, identify potential threats, and help protect people and property. The role may be based in a security operations center, call center, parking gatehouse, or similar environment. The position is located in Beloit, Wisconsin, and offers two full-time shift options: Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., or Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The stated wage is $20 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Be proficient with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems for potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
