About The Position

Sentry Force Security is seeking a dependable and professional Security Dispatcher to join our team in the Hampton Roads area. The Security Dispatcher will serve as a central point of communication between security officers, supervisors, management, clients, and emergency services.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous dispatch, security, military, law enforcement, customer service, or related experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn security-related software.
Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
Must be dependable and able to work independently.
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.

Nice To Haves

Security dispatch or command center experience.
Experience with two-way radios.
CCTV/video monitoring experience.
Alarm monitoring or access control experience.
Experience working in a security operations center or control room.

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to radio and telephone communications.
Dispatch security officers to incidents, calls for service, and assigned locations.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
Monitor officer activity and status throughout assigned shifts.
Receive and relay information quickly and accurately.
Communicate with supervisors and management regarding incidents and operational concerns.
Assist with emergency response and notification procedures.
Monitor security systems, cameras, alarms, and access control systems as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and security-related information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
