About The Position

Join INTEGRIS Health as a full-time, evening-shift Security Dispatcher at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role supports public safety by receiving and transmitting information, dispatching officers, monitoring officer activity and security systems, and responding to apparent incidents. The position reports to the Public Safety Director and Telecommunications Manager or supervisor. INTEGRIS Health is Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system. Requirements

1–2 years of experience in dispatching, emergency communications, security, or public safety roles.
Experience with multi-line phone systems, radio communications, and emergency dispatch systems.
Proficiency using Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
Public Safety Telecommunicator certification, such as APCO, NENA, or a state-specific certification.

Responsibilities

Accurately, efficiently, and politely receive and transmit information by telephone and through Computer Aided Dispatch system input.
Retrieve and record information concerning emergency and non-emergency situations.
Route and dispatch calls as needed.
Monitor the status of Public Safety Officers and their calls.
Monitor security screens and proactively monitor security cameras and access control systems.
Dispatch officers to incidents that appear suspicious.
Support the physical safety of Public Safety Officers by assigning backup support and monitoring their calls.
Complete job duties and serve customers efficiently and resourcefully to promote customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.
