About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Warehouse Associate / Package Handler at 350 N Wolf Road, Mount Prospect, Illinois. The position supports warehouse operations during the holiday season, helping packages move safely and on time. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The seasonal assignment runs from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. Shifts are available Monday through Friday, Tuesday through Saturday, Wednesday through Sunday, Thursday through Monday, Friday through Tuesday, or Saturday through Wednesday. Shift hours are 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. or until the sort is complete, including required sort work and cleanup as directed by site management. Hours may vary based on business needs. Overtime may be required when business needs require it. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

The role pays $18.75 per hour and is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to perform the required tasks with or without reasonable accommodation, including repeatedly lifting packages, standing and walking, and bending, lifting, reaching, and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures, including heat and cold.
• Be able to work overtime when business needs require it.
• No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and help maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
• Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
• Move and load packages onto delivery trucks.
• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing 30–50 pounds independently; participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep the workspace organized.
• Work collaboratively with the team to help packages reach their destinations safely and on time.
