About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Warehouse Associate/Package Handler at its Fridley, Minnesota location. The role supports warehouse operations during the holiday season, with a focus on safely and efficiently unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages, maintaining an organized workspace, and following safety protocols. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The position pays $19.80 per hour, with weekly pay and overtime eligibility consistent with applicable law. There are seven possible weekday/weekend shift patterns. Scheduled hours are 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. or until the end of sort, which means completion of required sort work and cleanup as directed by site management. Hours may vary based on business needs. The seasonal assignment runs from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. Seasonal employees may be considered for permanent openings after the assignment, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Must be able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift packages and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods and frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat.
• Must be able to work in varying hot and cold warehouse temperatures, where temperature control may be limited.
• Must be able to work overtime when business needs require.
• No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
• Move and load packages onto delivery trucks.
• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages throughout the shift, including packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently and using team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe, productive work environment.
• Keep the workspace organized and ready for work.
• Work collaboratively with the team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
