Seasonal/Temp Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal/Temp Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes assisting with customer purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, processing merchandise for the sales floor, maintaining store recovery and cleanliness, and supporting shrink reduction and safety programs. The associate contributes to a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, respect, and effective collaboration with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities
- Role-model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
