About The Position

The Seasonal/Temp Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and applying customer experience principles. The role helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store; follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained across store areas to support business needs.

Associates support a positive store culture, accurately process purchases and returns, promote credit and loyalty programs, prepare merchandise for the sales floor, and participate in store recovery and shrink-reduction efforts. They follow company procedures, labor laws, policies, and safety practices, and may perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
