About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate supports operational excellence and sales at Ulta Beauty by keeping merchandise available and fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, with attention to performance metrics, people, processes, and compliance. It requires attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures. The associate completes shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, inventory counts, resets, planograms, and marketing displays; maintains assigned areas so they are replenished, signed, and faced; and ensures testers are available. The role also includes ongoing training, contributing to an inclusive environment, following company policies and dress code, protecting company assets, and providing exceptional guest service. Scheduling is flexible and may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness across the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
