About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate supports operational excellence and sales drivers by keeping fixtures stocked with merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on operational performance, teammates and guests, and compliance with processes and procedures. It requires attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes. The associate helps ensure products are available for purchase and that operational tasks—including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and other procedures—are completed accurately and on time. The role also contributes to an inclusive guest and team environment, participates in ongoing training, follows company policies and dress standards, and maintains assigned areas and overall store standards. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Work involves continuous mobility and frequent physical activity, including lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, preferred.
Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
Ability to perform the physical demands described, including mobility throughout the store, frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting, and lifting, carrying, or moving up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals for the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate regularly in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Perform other operational tasks as directed.
