About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate is responsible for operational excellence in support of store sales and an exceptional guest experience. The role keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks while supporting the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager. It requires attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures. The associate helps meet store retail goals by completing operational tasks on schedule, ensuring products are available for purchase, and meeting task dashboard, compliance, and execution goals. Work includes shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory counts and procedures, and maintaining assigned areas so they are replenished, signed, and faced, with testers available. The associate also maintains store standards and cleanliness, follows company policies and dress code, protects company assets through loss-prevention practices, and provides exceptional guest service. The position supports an inclusive environment, participates in ongoing training and education, and performs other operational tasks as directed. The schedule is flexible and may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. The role involves continuous mobility and frequent physical activity throughout the shift, including standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, manipulating objects, and lifting, carrying, or moving up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including lifting, carrying, or moving up to 25 pounds during a shift.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by ensuring tasks are executed as planned and products are available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Execute other operational tasks as directed.
