About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate is responsible for operational excellence in support of sales and an exceptional guest experience. The associate keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks while supporting the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures. The associate helps meet store retail goals by ensuring assigned tasks are completed and products are available for purchase. They complete operational processes such as shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and related procedures. They contribute to an inclusive environment, participate in ongoing training, and follow company policies, procedures, standards, and dress code. Responsibilities also include completing merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty technology and best practices. Associates keep assigned areas replenished, signed, and faced; ensure testers are available; maintain store cleanliness; follow loss-prevention practices; provide exceptional guest service; and complete other operational tasks as directed. The position requires a flexible schedule, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays, as well as continuous mobility and frequent physical activity during shifts.

Requirements

Proficient with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Contribute to store retail goals by ensuring tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.
Meet task dashboard compliance and execution goals and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, inventory counts, and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Execute other operational tasks as directed.
