About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) supports operational excellence and sales by keeping merchandise fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, with a focus on operational performance, colleagues and guests, and compliance with processes and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures are required. The associate helps ensure products are available for purchase, operational tasks and inventory processes are completed on time, and store areas are replenished, signed, and faced. Duties also include merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, shipment processing, inventory procedures, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. The associate follows company policies, loss-prevention practices, and dress standards while contributing to an inclusive environment and participating in ongoing training. This seasonal role requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. Work involves continuous mobility and frequent physical activity throughout the shift, including lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as a Point of Sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Help meet or exceed store retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss-prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Complete other operational tasks as directed.
