About The Position

The Seasonal Task Associate supports operational excellence and sales by keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on operational performance, people, and processes. It requires attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures. The associate helps ensure products are available for purchase and operational processes are completed on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory procedures. They contribute to an inclusive environment, participate in ongoing training, follow company policies and standards, and maintain assigned work areas and overall store cleanliness. The role also includes protecting company assets and providing exceptional guest service. The position requires a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. Work involves continuous mobility and coordination, frequent standing and bending, and lifting, carrying, or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

Proficiency with basic technology, such as a point-of-sale system and Apple devices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early morning shifts, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.
One year of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by ensuring tasks are completed as planned and products are available for purchase.
Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard and complete operational processes on time, including shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts and procedures.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
Contribute to an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and internal and external guests.
Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code.
Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensure testers are available.
Maintain store standards and cleanliness in the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and provide exceptional guest service.
Execute other operational tasks as directed.
