About The Position

Seasonal Stock Associates support store operations by organizing inventory and maintaining safe, efficient stock areas. Working closely with the Stock Lead, they receive and merchandise items so customers can find the products they want. The role includes receiving, storing, picking, counting, and distributing products and materials; verifying shipments and resolving discrepancies; and helping assemble, pack, and ship merchandise transfers between retail locations or distribution centers. Associates follow stock policies and processes, maintain an orderly stockroom, use safety and security measures to deter theft, and handle damaged or mismatched merchandise according to company standards. The role also supports the sales floor by replenishing and displaying products in accordance with visual merchandising standards. When on the sales floor, associates greet customers, direct them to products and store areas, answer questions, share product knowledge, and maintain a positive attitude while promoting the store and brand. They work collaboratively toward business goals and report to work on time, notifying the Store Manager in advance if they will be late or absent. This is a seasonal position with a schedule that must be flexible to meet business needs. Requirements

High school diploma.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
Excellent team-building skills.
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet business needs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and applications.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of retail store management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Control damaged merchandise and mismatched inventory according to company standards.
Replenish and display products on the sales floor in accordance with visual merchandising standards.
Greet customers, direct them to products and store areas, answer questions, and provide current product knowledge.
Maintain a positive attitude with customers and team members and promote the store and brand image.
Work cooperatively with the team to achieve business goals.
Report to work on time and notify the Store Manager in advance if late or absent.
