About The Position
Salt & Straw is hiring seasonal Ice Cream Scoopers at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Scoopers create memorable guest experiences by welcoming guests, sharing flavor stories, offering samples, and helping guests choose flavors. They scoop ice cream, make waffle cones, operate the register, process transactions, assist with online and delivery orders, prepare products to recipes and quality standards, and support the shop’s daily operations. The role also includes restocking, maintaining food safety and cleanliness, dishwashing, cleaning, and collaborating with teammates in a fast-paced environment. The position pays $15.00 per hour, with average tips of $10.06. Team members must be at least 16 years old and able to work at least three shifts per week, including two closing shifts, as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays. The workplace may contain common food allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, and seafood.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create welcoming experiences for guests.
- Share flavor stories, offer samples, and help guests discover flavors.
- Scoop ice cream, make waffle cones, operate the register, and support daily shop operations.
- Greet guests, answer questions, and help guide the flow of the shop.
- Process transactions accurately and assist with online and delivery orders.
- Prepare products according to recipes and quality standards.
- Restock ice cream, supplies, and retail products throughout shifts.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards.
- Support dishwashing, cleaning, and other operational tasks.
- Collaborate with teammates to create a positive and supportive environment.
