About The Position

Salt & Straw is hiring Scoopers to create memorable guest experiences and help the shop run smoothly. Scoopers welcome guests, share flavor and ingredient stories, offer samples, and help guests discover products. They scoop ice cream, make waffle cones, operate the register, process transactions, support online and delivery orders, and prepare products according to recipes and quality standards. The role also includes restocking, maintaining food safety and cleanliness, dishwashing, and other operational tasks. Team members work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and are expected to be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with at least three shifts per week including two closing shifts.

The role involves working around common food allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, and seafood. Salt & Straw describes its workplace as inclusive and committed to equal opportunity. The posted pay is $15.00 plus average tips of $7.48.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work at least three shifts per week, including two closing shifts.

Responsibilities
