About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate is the face of The North Face brand, creating memorable shopping experiences through customer engagement, product knowledge, and exceptional service. Working collaboratively with the store team, the associate contributes to sales, visual merchandising, and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment. The role supports the store during peak season, with potential to transition to regular employment. This is a part-time or limited-time position and is not eligible for all VF Corporation benefit plans. Some benefits may be available; eligibility details are provided upon hire.
Requirements
- Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with a team and adapt to changing business needs.
- Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including basic retail systems and applications.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
- Build sales by maintaining a consumer-centric mindset and modeling selling behaviors.
- Share relevant product, brand, and community knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
- Work toward individual and team sales goals using available resources and tools.
- Assist with visual merchandising, product replenishment, and maintaining brand presentation standards.
- Perform cashier duties and support loss prevention initiatives as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
