About The Position

POP MART is seeking a customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associate to support its Alderwood-area retail store during the holiday shopping season. The associate serves as a brand ambassador, creating memorable shopping experiences and sharing product knowledge and enthusiasm for POP MART characters and collectibles. The role supports daily store operations, sales goals, merchandising, inventory, and a clean, engaging shopping environment. This is a temporary seasonal position intended to meet increased holiday business needs; employment is expected to end with the designated seasonal period, though the timing may vary with business needs. Continued employment may be considered but is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in creating positive shopping experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment.
• Teamwork, reliability, adaptability, and willingness to support changing business needs.
• Ability to learn product information, point-of-sale systems, and retail operating procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping periods, according to store scheduling needs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or another customer-facing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in designer toys, collectibles, art, anime, gaming, fashion, or pop culture.
• Familiarity with POP MART characters, products, and the collectible toy community.
• Experience using point-of-sale systems, handling merchandise, or supporting inventory operations.
• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet shoppers, build genuine connections, and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
• Share product knowledge, character stories, and enthusiasm for POP MART collectibles.
• Make personalized recommendations and help customers find products they will enjoy.
• Support sales goals by promoting key products, new releases, Blind Boxes, MEGA collectibles, and accessories.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store that reflects brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising, replenishing products, processing shipments, and organizing the stockroom.
• Support inventory accuracy and follow merchandise-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Help manage customer traffic, lines, and product launches while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with store leadership and teammates to meet operational needs, particularly during peak holiday periods.
