About The Position

At UGG, a division of Deckers Brands, the Seasonal Sales Associate helps bring the brand to life by creating personalized shopping experiences that meet customers’ needs and build brand loyalty. The role involves sharing product knowledge and communicating UGG’s sustainability initiatives and social and ethical commitments while contributing to store business goals as part of a team. The associate greets customers, answers questions accurately, provides service throughout the shopping experience, explains the return policy, and serves both in-store customers and callers. The role also includes operating the cash register, handling money accurately, checking inventory, keeping products stocked, merchandising according to visual standards, and maintaining clean and organized back-stock and employee break areas. Associates follow safety and theft-response policies, adhere to the dress code, and report to work on time, notifying the Store Manager in advance of lateness or absence.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
Highly motivated team player and self-starter.
Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet business needs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and applications.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Two years of retail store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide a high level of customer service in accordance with the Service Training Program.
Greet customers promptly and courteously and create personalized shopping experiences.
Listen to customers, make recommendations, share current product knowledge, and address questions accurately.
Communicate the return policy and provide service to in-store customers and customers who call by phone.
Share the brand’s sustainability initiatives and social and ethical commitments.
Maintain a positive attitude and promote the store and brand image, including by adhering to the dress code.
Operate the cash register and handle money accurately.
Check inventory daily and ensure products are stocked and available.
Merchandise products in accordance with Visual Merchandising standards.
Keep the back-stock area and employee break area clean and organized, including daily vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting.
Practice safety-consciousness and respond to theft in accordance with company policies.
Cooperate with team members to achieve business goals.
Report to work on time and notify the Store Manager in advance if late or absent.
