About The Position

The Seasonal Stock Associate supports store success by organizing inventory and maintaining safe, efficient stock areas. Working closely with the Stock Lead, the associate receives and merchandises products so customers can find the items they want. The role is part of a collaborative team focused on achieving business goals. The associate receives, stores, picks, counts, and distributes products and materials. Duties include verifying incoming shipments, resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate inventory counts, and assembling, packing, and shipping merchandise transfers between retail locations or distribution centers. The associate follows stock processes and policies, keeps the stockroom neat and orderly, practices safety and security measures, and handles damaged or mis-mated merchandise according to company standards. The role also supports the sales floor by replenishing and displaying products to Visual Merchandising standards. When working with customers, the associate greets them, directs them to products and store areas, answers questions, and provides current product knowledge. The associate maintains a positive and respectful attitude, promotes the store and brand image, reports to work on time, and notifies the Store Manager in advance of lateness or absence.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
Excellent team-building skills.
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Flexible schedule and hours to meet business needs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and applications.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of retail store management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize inventory and maintain safe, efficient stock areas.
Receive, store, pick, count, and distribute products and materials.
Receive and verify shipments, address discrepancies, and keep inventory counts current and accurate.
Assemble, pack, and ship merchandise transfers between retail locations or distribution centers.

Report to work on time and notify the Store Manager in advance if late or absent.
Escalate special customer requests regarding products or services to management.
Respond professionally to problems and use critical thinking to solve challenges.
