About The Position

At UGG, a division of Deckers Brands, Sales Associates help bring the UGG brand to life by creating personalized shopping experiences and delivering product recommendations and current product knowledge. They share the brand’s sustainability initiatives and social and ethical commitments, and work with the store team to achieve business goals. Sales Associates provide attentive service in person and by phone, greet customers, respond accurately to questions, communicate the return policy, and maintain a positive attitude while representing the store and brand. The role also includes operating the cash register, handling money accurately, checking inventory, replenishing and merchandising products, and maintaining clean, organized back-stock and employee break areas. Associates follow safety and theft-response policies, adhere to the dress code, and report to work on time.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
Motivated team player and self-starter.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and hours to meet business needs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and applications.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Two years of retail store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Create personalized shopping experiences that encourage customer loyalty.
Greet customers promptly and courteously and provide exceptional service in person and by phone.
Listen to customers, recommend products, and use current brand and product knowledge to address their needs.
Answer customer questions accurately and communicate the return policy.
Communicate UGG’s sustainability initiatives and social and ethical commitments.
Represent the store and brand positively, including adhering to the dress code.
Operate the cash register and handle money accurately.
Check inventory daily and ensure products are stocked and available.
Merchandise products in accordance with Visual Merchandising standards.
Maintain clean and organized back-stock and employee break areas, including daily vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting.
Follow safety practices and respond to theft in accordance with company policies.
Cooperate with team members to achieve business goals and notify the Store Manager in advance of lateness or absence.
