About The Position

UGG, a division of Deckers Brands, is hiring a seasonal Sales Associate to create personalized shopping experiences and deliver exceptional customer service. The associate listens to customers, offers recommendations and current product knowledge, communicates UGG’s sustainability initiatives and social and ethical commitments, and contributes to store business goals as part of a team. The role includes greeting customers, answering questions accurately, communicating the return policy, and providing service in person and by phone. Sales Associates operate the cash register, handle money accurately, check inventory, keep products stocked and available, and merchandise products according to visual merchandising standards. They also maintain clean, organized back-stock and employee break areas, follow safety and theft-response policies, adhere to the dress code, and report to work on time. The position requires schedule flexibility to meet business needs.

Requirements

High School Diploma.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
Highly motivated team player and self-starter.
Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet business needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite tools and applications.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Two years of retail store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Create personalized shopping experiences that encourage brand loyalty.
Greet customers promptly and courteously and provide exceptional service from start to finish.
Listen to customers and offer recommendations and current product knowledge in response to their needs.
Address customer questions accurately and communicate the return policy.
Provide customer service to in-store visitors and people who call the store.
Communicate UGG's sustainability initiatives and social and ethical commitments.
Represent the store and brand positively, including adhering to the dress code.
Operate the cash register and handle money accurately.
Check inventory daily and ensure products are stocked and available.
Merchandise products in accordance with visual merchandising standards.
Maintain clean and organized back-stock and employee break areas, including daily vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting.
Follow safety practices and respond to theft in accordance with company policies.
Work cooperatively with the team to achieve business goals.
Report to work on time and notify the Store Manager in advance when late or absent.
