About The Position

A Decor Seasonal Sales Associate contributes to driving sales by naturally engaging customers around shared interests in home décor and gardening. The associate upholds terrain’s four promises: to welcome, inspire, inform, and appreciate customers. They provide personalized attention, share product knowledge and trends, support store operations and visual standards, and collaborate with the team to create an efficient and inspirational shopping experience.

Requirements

Experience in customer service.
Basic knowledge of home décor trends and gardening.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Terrain brand fan.

Responsibilities

Build genuine, long-lasting customer relationships through personalized attention and exceed customer expectations.
Share information about terrain’s events, product knowledge, new arrivals, and current trends to inform customers and inspire their indoor and outdoor spaces.
Use store systems and applications to deliver an efficient, seamless shopping experience.
Contribute positively, respectfully, and helpfully to the team.
Participate in daily meetings and projects, and demonstrate an understanding of home and garden style that reflects the terrain brand.
Take initiative and work productively with the team toward collaborative goals.
Uphold visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on customers.
Support team members across departments in maintaining product standards and inspirational displays.
Assist the leadership team with receiving and placing new products.
Support customers with in-store, curbside, and local delivery services.
Follow store safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, reduce product loss, and comply with company policies and procedures to support store profitability.
