About The Position

A Nursery Sales Associate contributes to driving sales by naturally engaging customers around shared interests in home décor and gardening. The associate upholds Terrain’s promises to welcome, inspire, inform, and appreciate customers. The role focuses on personalized customer service, product knowledge, teamwork, and maintaining visual and operational standards in the store.

Requirements

Experience in customer service.
Understanding of horticulture.
Willingness and ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of home décor trends and gardening.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Participate in daily meetings and projects, demonstrating an understanding of home and garden style that reflects the Terrain brand.

Uphold visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer.
Support team members across departments in maintaining product standards and inspirational displays.
Assist the leadership team with receiving and placing new products.
Support customers with in-store, curbside, and local delivery services.
Follow store safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, reduce product loss, and comply with company policies and procedures.
