About The Position

Nell Hill's is hiring a part-time or full-time seasonal Sales Associate for its Briarcliff home décor and furnishings store. This relationship-first, guest-facing role centers on creating welcoming experiences, building connections with customers, and helping them find furnishings and décor suited to their homes. The role also supports the store's displays, merchandising, inventory tasks, events, and daily operations. Weekends are required. Store hours are Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–6 PM, and Sunday, 12 PM–5 PM.

Requirements

Genuinely enjoys connecting with people and providing guest service.
Warm, enthusiastic, curious, and interested in people.
Passionate about beautiful spaces, home décor, or design.
Comfortable using registers; register experience is a key part of the role.
Available to work weekends.
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
Able to regularly lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Adaptable to a lively retail environment with frequent guest interaction.

Responsibilities

Welcome every guest with authentic enthusiasm.
Get to know guests, understand their spaces and preferences, and help them find suitable products.
Offer product knowledge and design inspiration.
Build lasting relationships with repeat customers.
Communicate promotions, new arrivals, and upcoming events to guests.
Process purchases and returns accurately.
Maintain store displays and help with floor moves and visual updates.
Restock merchandise and assist with tagging, product placement, and inventory labeling.
Assist with scheduled opening and closing duties.
Communicate guest needs, product feedback, and opportunities to store leadership.
Support store events, seasonal setups, and day-to-day operations.
Support teammates and contribute to a positive guest experience.
