About The Position
Nell Hill's is hiring a part-time or full-time seasonal Sales Associate for its Briarcliff home décor and furnishings store. This guest-facing, relationship-first role involves welcoming guests, learning about their preferences and spaces, and helping them discover furnishings and décor that suit their homes. The associate provides product knowledge and design inspiration, communicates promotions and store news, and processes purchases and returns accurately. Register experience is an important part of the role. The associate also helps maintain the store's displays and day-to-day operations by restocking merchandise, supporting floor moves and visual updates, and assisting with tagging, product placement, and inventory labeling. Other duties include scheduled opening and closing tasks, communicating guest needs and product feedback to store leadership, and supporting events and seasonal setups. Weekends are required. The position is suited to someone warm, enthusiastic, curious, and interested in people, home décor, or design. Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods and regularly lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds. The work takes place in a lively retail environment with frequent guest interaction.
