Seasonal Retail Support Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal Retail Support Associate supports store operations by managing freight and inventory, fulfilling customer orders, keeping the stockroom organized, replenishing merchandise on the sales floor, and helping the sales team maintain product availability. The role contributes to Duluth Trading Company’s customer service standard by helping the store provide an efficient, well-organized shopping experience. The position also requires following company safety, merchandising, and cleanliness policies and performing other duties as directed by management. Retail experience is preferred but not required. The position description notes that its responsibilities are a general guideline and are not exhaustive.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting below the waist and above the shoulders; repetitive hand-to-finger motions; and reaching with hands and arms.
- Frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds; push or pull up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, particularly in stockroom areas.
- Use a computer or handheld device for up to 60% of the workday.
Nice To Haves
- Retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience handling freight and picking omnichannel orders for delivery and buy online, pick up in store (BOPIS).
- Organization and a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities
- Unload, sort, and process freight shipments; manage merchandise flow from delivery trucks to the stockroom and sales floor.
- Pick, pack, and process customer orders, including online purchases for in-store pickup and orders shipped directly from the store.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom.
- Replenish merchandise on the sales floor and help the store team locate products.
- Collaborate with sales associates by maintaining product availability and communicating new arrivals and stock levels.
- Follow company policies and standards for safety, merchandising, and cleanliness.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
